Hello, my name is Lilia McIntyre I am a multimedia artist, currently residing in the East Bay, California. For several years I have expressed my life through painting, photography, filmmaking, short videos and the latest is a mobile game app.

I spent my childhood in México, I choose to explore the interpersonal complexities of being bilingual and the importance of the art of oral story telling as a universal language present in all cultures.

My fascination with stories, music, and composition, inspired my studies in Cinema with a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University in 2005. I have worked in feature films as well as short online video productions.

My story telling style has transitioned into digital art. In June 2011, I earned a Masters of Arts in Multimedia from California State University, East Bay.  As part of my thesis project, I developed in my first game, which examines the involvement of an active audience. "Yaxche: The Tree Of Life" is a collaborative game using mobile devices, where the players experience rituals and communal governance to battle the Death Lords of Xibalba and defend the ancient Maya city of Tiho.

You can contact me via email. I also have a youTube channel, Likedin page and the Yaxche game is available at the App store. Download the iPad and iPod/iPhone versions are free for a limited time!
